Carrie Reyes
Carrie Reyes, MED, LMHC Carrie has a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and years of finance experience in the world of advertising. She is highly emphatic and person-centered using an eclectic and tailored approach in working with clients to meet their needs. She has a strong passion and desire to help clients develop healthy coping skills in a non-judgmental therapeutic evironment. She believes in the power to change negative thoughts and behaviors into positive ones through empowerment.
Her interests are not limited to but include anxiety, depression, grief counseling, relationships and working with children and adolescents. She has previous experiences in an agency setting working with clients of various gender, race, age and socio-economic status as well as in a school setting working with at-risk adolescents.

Yulgeim Gomez
As a clinician, Yulgeim emphasizes the importance of creating empathetic therapeutic environments where clients will feel safe to share and explore within themselves the narratives and behaviors that bring them into therapy. Utilizing an integrative approach to therapy, Yulgeim applies different therapeutic techniques from a variety of theoretical orientations that include Person Centered, Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy.
Prior experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of different challenges including ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and trauma. Additionally, Yulgeim spent time providing college career counseling services at Fordham University. He also has experience working with families of different cultural backgrounds and is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to pursuing a degree in Mental Health Counseling, Yulgeim spent multiple years volunteering in Colombia, Ecuador, and parts of the United States providing different types of mental health support that included counseling. His interest in counseling stems from these experiences traveling, meeting people of different cultures, and learning about how different cultural factors influence a person’s mental health. Yulgeim’s experiences as a first-generation immigrant have provided insight and understanding of how multicultural components play a role in the development of a person.
Although it is often difficult to showcase vulnerability, there is also value in recognizing a need to better ourselves. Understanding and exploring what makes us who we are is a life-long and exhilarating journey that Yulgeim hopes to take with you.

Marty Maidenberg, MA, LMHC, NCC is a psychotherapist treating both individuals and couples and whose experiences stems from his work over the past 20+ years guiding and managing the careers of those in the creative arts industries. More recently, his clinical experience includes work as a full-time counselor focused on crisis intervention and those affected by grief and loss. He has now expanded his client base to incorporate a wide variety of treatment areas, which include challenges involving anxiety and depression, personal and professional mid-life transitions, relationship problems, and issues of self-esteem.

Christine Valenzuela
Christine Valenzuela, MHC-LP Christine believes in the transformative power of providing a safe space for others to feel supported, seen, and validated. By way of the therapeutic relationship and drawing from varied therapeutic approaches including person-centered, narrative, and psychodynamic therapy, Christine aims to create this transformative space for the individuals she collaborates with.
Christine received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Syracuse University. She also has training and experience supporting birthing mothers and their families through labor and delivery as a Full Spectrum Doula. The versatility of her education has fostered her understanding and emphasis on the mind, body, and soul connection in therapeutic work.
She has experience supporting individuals with but not limited to anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Dr. Nicole Andreoli PhD
Nicole Andreoli, PhD received her doctorate in Applied Psychology and a postdoctoral respecialization degree in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University. Dr Andreoli has an extensive research background that includes studies at Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation on improving the health and quality of life outcomes for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. She received additional clinical training at Zucker Hillside Hospital / North Shore-LIJ Health System and the Saltzman Community Service Center particularly in the geriatric psychiatry clinic, adult fear and phobia clinic and in the area of psychological and neurpsychological assessments.
In private practice, Dr Andreoli has utilized empirically supported cognitive-behavioral techniques to work with children, adolescents, and adults to address a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral issues.

Ganna Plotkina PsyD
Anna Plotkina, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychoogist. Dr. Plotkina has put her passion and training to use in community mental health clinics, private practices, schools, and rehabilitation and nursing home facilities. Dr. Plotkina’s education and clinical training focused on adult individuals with histories of trauma, recurring anxiety, depression, and interpersonal and life transition issues. She is also experienced in providing psychological assessment as well as individual, group and family therapy treatment for children and adolescents presenting with emotional and behavioral challenges. She is a contributing author to a forthcoming graduate-level psychology textbook.
